Incentive Software Ltd. was a pioneering British studio best known for its Freescape engine—one of the earliest systems to deliver solid 3D worlds on home computers. Working as in-house team Major Developments, Incentive brought Freescape to DOS with a run of ambitious first-person adventures: Driller (aka Space Station Oblivion), Dark Side, Total Eclipse, and the atmospheric duo Castle Master and Castle Master II: The Crypt. These games blended exploration, puzzles and shooting in fully navigable polygonal spaces and helped shape early 3D design on PC. On this page at bestDOSgames you can play these Incentive DOS classics online, free, right in your browser.
