Computer’s Dream was a boutique French developer spearheaded by designers Olivier Cordoleani and Hervé Lange. Between 1989 and 1992 the team carved a cult niche with two stylish cyber-adventure RPGs for MS-DOS: B.A.T. and its richer, story-driven sequel B.A.T. II – The Koshan Conspiracy. Mixing point-and-click exploration, real-time combat and programmable gadgets, the series introduced many PC players to a comic-book take on cyberpunk long before the genre became mainstream. In 1993 the studio broadened its ambitions and re-branded as Haiku Studios, but those first two DOS releases remain its defining work today. Thanks to DOS-box emulation you can relive both originals right here on bestDOSgames—no installs, no ads, just click play and start troubleshooting the galaxy for free.
