xLand (also styled X LanD) was a Polish game studio founded in 1989 in Kraków. Working with modest PCs and huge ambition, the team delivered crisp controls, clever level ideas, and that unmistakable shareware-era charm. Their best-known MS-DOS releases include the puzzle favorite Robbo, the sci-fi platformer Electro Body (released internationally as Electro Man), and the radiant tile puzzler Heartlight. The company later operated under other names, including Chaos Works, but the xLand-era catalog remains its most celebrated. On this page you can explore their DOS lineup and play the games online for free in your browser, whether you want a quick retro break or a deeper run through classic design.
