Opera Soft S.A. was a Spanish video game studio and publisher founded in 1986, based in Madrid, and active until it closed in 1992. Part of Spain’s “Golden Age” of home-computer software, it also ran the Opera Sports label and became known for polished, challenging games with memorable pixel art and fast, responsive controls. Its hits helped carry Spanish talent from 8-bit micros onto the DOS scene.
